OFFICE NAVI SINGAPORE operates an office search site specializing in shared offices in Singapore.

Our ongoing "Singapore Office Guide Series" provides detailed insights into the office buildings in Singapore.

Today, we highlight the Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC), home to some of the world’s most prominent financial services companies.

MBFC Overview and Access

Overview

Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) is a landmark complex that embodies Singapore’s status as a global financial hub.

Major financial institutions such as DBS Bank, HSBC Bank, the World Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank have offices here, solidifying MBFC’s role as a key financial center in the region.

Comprising three office towers and two residential towers, MBFC was constructed in two phases and celebrated its grand opening in 2013 with then Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in attendance.

Access

MBFC is strategically located in the Marina Bay district, directly connected to the Downtown MRT station.

It also features underground connectivity to Raffles Place MRT station, a major transit hub in the CBD.

Additionally, MBFC is within walking distance of both Shenton Way and Marina Bay MRT stations, offering excellent accessibility.

Office Tower

MBFC features three office towers, each known for its distinctive characteristics and superior design.

Tower I.

The 33-story Tower I hosts many international financial institutions, including Standard Chartered Bank (UK) and renowned law firms such as Baker & McKenzie.

タワーⅡ

Tower II, a 50-story high-rise and the tallest tower in MBFC, is designed to maximize office space and natural light.

It is equipped with environmentally friendly, energy-efficient systems.

Tenants include BHP Group, the world’s largest mining company, and HSBC Bank.

Tower III.

Tower III, a 46-story building, is the only one in the complex to receive the BCA Green Mark Pearl Award.

Its design emphasizes shading and insulation to keep offices cool while minimizing energy consumption.

This tower houses DBS Bank and other multinational companies, serving as the central business hub of MBFC.

The BCA (Building and Construction Authority of Singapore) Green Mark Pearl Award recognizes exceptional efforts in sustainable building operations.
This award honors projects and buildings that collectively enhance environmental sustainability.

Ground Plaza

The plaza between the three office towers features two striking buffalo sculptures.

Surrounding the plaza, outdoor restaurants provide a pleasant space for office workers to relax.

Community platform: By the Bay

MBFC integrates its community through the By the Bay app, which connects MBFC, One Raffles Quay (an office building), and Marina Bay Link Mall (a commercial establishment).

The app enables seamless access through the MBFC lobby gates and facilitates participation in community events such as yoga sessions and calligraphy workshops.

Shopping complex

Marina Bay Link Mall

Located in the basement of MBFC, Marina Bay Link Mall spans approximately 16,630 square meters of retail space.

Directly connected to Downtown and Raffles Place MRT stations, the mall is bustling with office workers on weekdays.

It offers a wide range of amenities, including supermarkets, drugstores, cafes, and restaurants.

Food Court (Kopitiam)

The Kopitiam food court in Tower III offers a diverse selection of cuisines, including local dishes, Korean, Indian, and Western options.

It is a popular spot for office workers during lunchtime.
